Stanley “Stan” Varon is Of Counsel at Bennett Pennington, LLC. As a retired Municipal Court Judge, after serving more than 20 years on the bench in the Maplewood Municipal Court, Stanley has decided tens of thousands of cases and has interacted with lawyers and pro se defendants from diverse ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds. Stan’s main areas of practice include: Landlord-Tenant, Real estate, and Contract Law. His knowledge as a former Judge gives him a unique edge when devising legal strategies for his clients and presiding over mock trials for the firm. His educational background includes: a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Newark in 1970 and a B.A. from City College of New York in 1967.
